Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book an appointment? You can either telephone 0207 4674579 or email appointments@andrewhoyle.com and a member of the admissions staff will arrange an appointment for you.

Do I need a referral to see you? No. Patients are more than welcome to book their own appointment.

Where do you practise? At Kind Edward VII’s Hospital Sister Agnes, in the Harley Street area of London. The hospital provides a full range of diagnostic facilities including blood testing, cardiac investigations, CT & MRI scanning. There are also in patient beds and a critical care unit.

Do you undertake domiciliary visits? Yes. Home, office and hotel visits can be arranged by prior appointment. Please note that visits attract an additional fee.

Do you see patients out of hours? Yes. I am able to see patients by appointment in the evenings and at the weekends. Please note that appointments on public holidays attract an additional fee.

Do you perform telephone or electronic consultations? Yes, in certain circumstances for existing patients. To provide safe medical care, it is often important to examine a patient so it is not always possible to offer advice by telephone or email.

Do you offer a membership scheme? No. Consultations and additional services are charged in full at each appointment.

Can I only have my investigations at your hospital? No. If you require additional investigations such as blood tests or scans you are free to choose any private clinic in which to have your tests performed. The same applies if you are issued a prescription: you can go to any pharmacy that will accept a private prescription.

Do you provide interpreters? No. Patients are more than welcome to bring their own interpreter with them to an appointment.

Can I access my medical records? Yes. You can request a copy of your medical records and Dr Hoyle is registered under the Data Protection Act as a Data Controller with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
